Impact Spotlight: Comeback Kid Society, City Rescue Mission, Peace City, Diversion Hub

Our partners show up day after day committed to improving the lives of others. Check out the waves they’ve been making in our latest Impact Spotlight.

City Rescue Mission

City Rescue Mission (CRM) has seen great success with their Hope Lives Here housing program, an initiative specifically for households with criminal justice involvement or minor children with open or recent DHS cases. This program is funded through the Arnall Community Funds at Oklahoma City Community Foundation.

Hope Lives Here offers housing assistance to households experiencing homelessness. The organization recently added prevention services to the program, which aims to keep individuals at risk of homelessness in their homes.

Through this initiative, CRM housed 280 households, representing 533 individuals, in just under 2 years. 86% of households had at least one individual with a criminal history or justice involvement while 20% had recent child welfare involvement.

Hope Lives Here is equipping participants with the tools they need to sustain stable housing on their own. 99% of participants reported an improved ability to manage their finances, access community resources, and maintain stable housing.

This is just one part of CRM’s success. According to their 2025 impact report, the agency helped to house 929 people in their overall housing efforts.

Peace City

Arnall Family Foundation has been a key partner to Peace City since its inception, one of the only community violence intervention organizations specifically focused on reducing gun violence in Oklahoma City.

In 2025, the program successfully identified and conducted intake for 59 individuals with a high risk of engaging in violence. To date, 100% of current clients have refrained from engaging in violence while maintaining a 94% client retention rate. Beyond active clients, Peace City provided services to 503 unique individuals in 2025, which include mediation, intervention, connection to education services, housing, mentorship, and employment assistance.

The organization is tracking toward a 10% reduction in violence in Ward 7 by June 2026, where homicides dropped from 19 in FY22 to 11 in FY25.

In a recent Q&A Arnall Family Foundation conducted, Peace City CEO Lyn Jackson said, “So much of our impact is defined by things that don’t happen!”

Diversion Hub

Diversion Hub connects justice-involved individuals to life-stabilizing resources and services to help them become safe, self-sufficient and stable members of the community.

The organization has expanded its reach after providing years of impact in Oklahoma County. Diversion Hub has expanded to Cleveland and Canadian Counties in 2025, serving 732 clients (401 in Cleveland, 331 in Canadian) so far between the two locations.

Diversion Hub plans to continue expansion opportunities in additional counties as opportunities arise.

Comeback Kid Society

Comeback Kids Society’s mission revolves around offering unwavering support and

invaluable resources to young individuals residing in foster group homes, juvenile

detention, treatment centers, and in our local communities, helping them to triumph

over life’s challenges, cultivate resilience, and recognize their self-worth.

In recent years, the agency has partnered with local companies to offer their students work-readiness classes. Students in the program also have the opportunity to put what they learn in the classroom to the test as they work directly with the local companies for minimum wage.

The goal for every student is that the local company finds each student’s work

performance acceptable and hires them on with the company permanently. Many students have achieved this goal. Others have gained skills that have allowed them to find long-term jobs with other employers. Of the 8 students that participated in the pilot internship program in the last year, 4 were offered a job with their host company.
